Personally I don't like that bleed screw, I always leave it well alone, it just seems to create air locks and problems, I always fill the system very slowly then leave it ticking over for 30mins with the main cap off and it pukes all the air out... Pete

I tried it again tonight..only got a slight hiss from it so I'm a bit relieved...amazing how its stayed slightly pressurised for a few days after I last used it? The second I seen it spewing coolant I thought the worse.(as usual |

It's usually a good sign to have a bit of pressure left in the system after a few days, it shows that the head gaskets for one aren't leaking.

Oh Dear a really bad case of Roverphobia There is no known cure, so you'll just have to stay with the support group.... some people find it helps to share the worries..... Haha aye buddy I've definitely got a case of it! Wee bit excess pressure I immediately think cancel Xmas head gaskets had it...was convinced I could hear my struts leaking air last week and it was the wind Love these beasts but its giving me grey hair.. |

@uk marine..thankyou...thats all I needed to hear..i was out with a torch very near on midnight running the fatty last night..coolant cap off looking for bubbles |
