Have you had the headlight out?

The same happened to one of mine. Turned out the connecting link between the lamp holder and adjusting mechanism had fallen off.

It was lying loose inside the headlight, but you could only tell once the unit was out of the car as you'd hear it moving around.

Some dextrous fiddling reconnected the two parts and it''s working fine now.

Bit cheaper than replacement!

it's doable without taking the bumper off but it's a struggle.

Still three screws if i remember (like the 2007's) but extra tangs under the light itself which makes it harder.

Thanks Mike,

I was going to have the cap off the back and see if I can move it manually to latch back on the adjuster.

So it looks like it might be a headlight out job. Crying or Very sad

Will have to look at a video to see how to do it easy screws above but like you say the one under the front bumper isn't so good.

Thanks 2011 FFRR Vogue SE Stornoway Grey

Yeah, it really is a headlight out job.

On mine, the actual white plastic link-piece had fallen off and was loose in the headlight casing, so the only way to get hold of it was to turn the unit upside down and shake it until it fell out.

Once you have the unit out and the back cover off, it's clear why the adjuster stops working.......the adjuster itself works fine, but it's not connected the the pivoting lamp holder....a pait of long pliers or tweezers will get it back on.
