M Class Merc 4x4

Has any members wive's , family have or had one of these and if so would you recommend them , as due to the weather up here starting to take a turn for the worse for the next few months ( i think) ......

I am in two minds of changing my Daughters Merc CLK Cabrio for one of these as they are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard in this weather .......

Have checked Whatcar etc etc but they mostly just give the same reviews , so was wondering if anyone on here actually has had one ..... Thumbs Up

Sorry but I steer clear of Mercs as I have no idea what they are about other than there are 7567 different models Laughing

I do have a very nice TDV8 to match yours though.... Thumbs Up (Is that Spam enough Dan Question )

Other wise get her a Tiguan Sport with the leather (heated seats) and it has very wide nicely shod 18" wheels for a small 4X4 - fabulous looking car for a girl as it exudes style and quality. Mercs are far too brash and make you look a dick.

Back to the errrrrr topic........ Have driven M320 and 270 and found them underpowered, thirsty, not very comfortable adn not very big inside. However they were the old shape adn the new one is supposed to be a lot better (a chum has one adn really likes it but then he also had a RRS!) - personally i wouldn't buy one. What about the Toyota RAV4? This has a very good rating in the motoring press, if cheap to own adn run and has a pretty good softroad ability.
