GAP IID USB driver for Win XP?

Is there a GAP IID USB driver for Win XP? Win XP can't install the IID as it can't find a driver so I while I can run the Updater program, it can't find the IID Tool to update it. Nor can I run the Controller program which also means I can't use the PC interface to get around the missing pixel problem Ron B. VK2OTC

Thanks weegie.

I saw that earlier (after I'd posted the above).

I'll check tonight but I don't think that's the issue. XP sees the device and correctly names it but can't find a driver.

I can get a bigger Win 10 laptop to work but I'm trying to get my old netbook to work with the tool. It can stay in the car or garage. Ron B. VK2OTC

Regrettably XP doesn't see the IIDTool on a COM port, it shows up under Other Devices. Ron B. VK2OTC

Patrick sent me an email telling me where to find the driver.

I tried installing it but it went into some kind of never-ending process and didn’t install.

I uninstalled the Updater and then reinstalled it and all came good. The driver installed properly and the IID Tool was recognised on a COM port. Tested OK in the car. I like the way that one can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to drive the Tool.

Thanks Patrick Ron B. VK2OTC
