I had issues with Karcher pressure washers as they would only last about 18 months.

If you just want a cheep one go for the B&Q own brand one. The karcher hose fits and only cost about £40. been using for 2 years now so if it goes wrong I will just throw away and get another 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9

i bought one of the last ones Halfords branded as their own. Had it 5 years now and it still works fine.

Im in the market for a petrol one to clean brickwork with as the halfords one isn't up to the job, I have hired them in the past, but might get it for work and it can live in my garage when not in use (to prevent theft obviously ) looking at a few of the ones in Machine Mart, pretty much all of the petrol ones better the electric ones. The downside is that if you want a Honda engine (so it will start) then they are over a grand...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

blimey theres some tight gits on here ! you only get what you pay for a power devil tool aint a quality tool like festool I only buy quality buy once and don't have problems with break downs I run all my tools hard and don't have probs karcher cheapies are what it says cheap buy pro tools they last. 30 years in business and all ways buy quality tools dewalts crap mikakitas crap festool are great kracher professional are great as well Stop being tight asses !

disagree with the Dewalt stuff being crap.

I have a boot full of the stuff for work and we treat it like crap and hammer it every day. It lasts ages. The stuff from the DIY shops is not aimed at the pro market and is crap, but the brushless stuff and the XRP stuff is very robust. We bought one of their XRP 18v cordless circulars a couple of years back and it is still going strong even though it is asked to cut 9 x 2 on a daily basis.

I do agree that you get what you pay for most of the time, and you have to buy to suit your use, e.g. there is absolutely no point someone who drills 2 holes a year spending £400 on a cordless drill, but if you drill 2 holes an hour then does..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

spent 30k a year last year on tools had a direct account with dewalt got money back as all broke don't last more than 6 months have festools now after some have lasted 3 plus years a £ 100 jet wash is not going to last any time even if you wash your car or cars weekly buy cheap pay twice or thrice times trust me have tried but not cost effective buying cheap in the end

I have a karcher petrol one with a honda engine (costco special), has worked its **** off although the lance arrangement with that bayonet fixing is rubbish.
Bought a Nilfisk one when Argos had a special deal on (I buy £10k tools a year but this was for me to chuck in the garage at home), was about £100. Brass pump I believe.
Gets used just as often as the Karcher these days. 2007 Vogue TDV8 with 255/55/20's fitted

I've got one like Joker which is great for the Patio but too powerful for the car. This might sound odd.... but bare with me....... I've also got a Workzone one from Aldi that was somewhere between £45 and £50........... and it's great.
Powerful enough to clean but not so powerful it starts to tear off stickers.....

Agreed Karcher are shiit. I'm on my second and that's started to leak internally (just like the last one). Took it apart and the pump is a sealed unit FFS!

Also took my snow foam bottle out of the lance and left the female connector irremovably stuck in the lance so both bottle and lance written off! The lance is plastic riveted together so cant even sort that out.
