[SOLD] Fully modified 2003 Vogue 4.4V8 LPG

Oh dear, got bored again, I have another itch and it needs scratching...

Most of you know the FF, so thought I would put it on here first and see if anyone wants a superb toy before spending two weeks listing all the mods, upgrades and rebuilds...

Build thread

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic24082.html

There is nothing wrong with it apart from the steering column does not move electrically, I have half the bit's to fix it so less than £200 if you are fussed, you can set it manually and it will stay where you put it... apart from that everything is working and IID tool this morning shows no faults...

Been well over serviced since I have had it...

Comes as is, have a few spares and another set of 18" wheels...

Also the latest IID Bluetooth tool....

Couple of pictures, loads more on build thread... Thumbs Up

This is where I would put OFFERS but I have to list a price, I did start to work out what it cost to build but frightened myself so stopped....

I̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶w̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶c̶l̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶£̶9̶,̶0̶0̶0̶ ̶s̶o̶u̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶f̶a̶r̶e̶.̶.̶.̶.̶?̶?̶

£7,500 ono

PM me your number if you want a chat about it....

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  Pete

Sorry about that... I'll take a deposit and keep it till the new year, no great rush to sell it... Thumbs Up

And to answer the other questions...

Spent a couple of days visiting mates in London last week, finally got a go in a DB9 and it was awesome, but somehow too much, if that makes sense... Then a Tesla 70 and that was just weird... fast, but weird... then the last mate had just bought an RS4 and that was the nuts, beautiful 4 wheel drifts and you can really drive it round a bend on the throttle, alas too small for me.... but it's got me thinking about an RS6 or maybe even an S8, not so nimble but still a hoot.... Fatty has come about as far as I want to take it, throw it at anything now and it shrugs it off...

So I fancy swapping the welder for some Meguiars for a while.... Thumbs Up

There again always fancied a fatty S/C.... Rolling Eyes Pete

The L322 world will miss having you mate, don't go for too long please!

We all have non Land/Range Rover projects so no one can blame you here, but I am afraid you'll miss it - that said you've done everything you could have to it really !

happy Pistonheads drooling, see you soon I am sure. Mummm, try a 2009/12 5.0L before you go Audi though...

Well I hope you keep active on here Pete.

I thought long and hard when I swapped to the 4.4 TDV8.... the only other car in the frame was the Audi RS6 Avant V10 with 572bhp.... but I decided I didn't want to sit on the floor again....

Audi is an itch I have still to scratch....

I know you are not a diesel fan Pete but Stan's 32mpg round trip to Cologne, including a 130mph Haylands tune up takes some beating. Ask him which he prefers, SC or 4.4 TDV8.

Yep, we bought a DB9 Volanté for the Mrs last year and my notes so far are:
Great engine
Fantastic sound
Reasonable handling in the dry, bloody lethal in the wet
Typical British hand built squeaks & rattles
Good stereo
Noisy
Bumpy
Looks better than any supermodel ever will, especially with the top off. No saggy bits on this baby.

Fancy working out a PX deal? Whistle

Sorry for the thread hijack Whistle

I had a 2003 Audi RS6 last year remapped by MRC to approx 530bhp. If you think LR ownership is expensive get ready Shocked .In 6 months ownership(less than 3000 miles) mine stung me for the best part of £8k Big Cry

over £1000 for front discs and pads just an example Shocked

Mine also needed a pair of turbos, thats when i decided it had to go Ner Ner

Must admit that it was a glorious thing to drive though Bow down Mr. Green

This was mine

Oh you lot are funny... Rolling with laughter

I can't afford a 5.0S/C or a 4.4 diesel thingy Shocked

I could part ex the DB9 if you chucked in £5,000 as well...... Thumbs Up

Just been looking at an S8 with ceramic discs, bet they cost a bit....

Was also looking at a 4.2TDi A8, a few tweeks and it will give an S8 a good run for it's money.... Hmmmm next project, hybrid turbos on an A8, new injectors and some remapping... could be fun.... Whistle Pete
