Worn Brake's

My 2010 TDV8 3.6 is showing the Worn Brake's warning on the Dashboard. Is there any way to know which needs replacing without removing the wheels?

Also are there any better or cheaper pad alternatives to OEM?

Bump... Just looking to see what people's experience in brake pads is - are they equivalent or better 3rd party, or should I go oem LR?

Depends on which brakes you have. Is yours a 3.6 or 4.4?

Inspecting them is the only proper way to tell although with some wheels you can see through the gaps.

I'd start with the front brakes. ______________________________
