BATTERY DEAD

Haven't used the car for a week.Tried to start it yesterday being as it a bit frosty outside, -7, It wouldn't have it. Put the jump leads on it and started straight away. I gave it a good run for about half an hour, tried it again when i got home from work today, tried to turn over then nothing. New battery time i think, anyone know the best value/cheapest for a battery. Question gone fishin'

My recomendation is EXIDE GEL battery 100Ah. Fires at -28 Celsius in instance (at mountain) Smile Also I bought 8 new glow plugs along with battery. It took as I remember arround 10-12 sec to crank it, and it fired like it was +30 Celsius outside. Glow plugs NGK.

Fourthed 👍

They can still be killed if left too long without a charge though, I wouldn't want to push minenpast a month without a good run or being on the ctek FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

Fifth'd ! I replaced the battery when I bought the FF earlier this year as I kept getting HDC inactive warning, bought a 019 110ah 920CCA bat cheap, still same problems (even when left on CTEK charger), just bought the "proper job" and not getting so many HDC inactive warnings and you can hear it spinning the starter faster than either of the previous batteries. Shop around, I got mine £94.99 delivered Thumbs Up
