Anco winter blade hack L322/ BMW

Ok, maybe I'm cheap. Did this last year and it worked great!

First, Anco 24" winter wipers

Then, grind off pin/remove plastic piece. Slightly mod the metal wiper bracket.

The anco wiper is kind of unique that the mounting cage is very skinny and fits within the oem assembly.

Remove wipers and the plastic wiper clip/slide assembly then insert the anco winter wiper, I use a 1/4" pin and a touch of wire on other side, worked all last winter without trouble.

Last years wipers only had the one hole, plus the one for the pin. This year they have two sets of holes. The bigger ones are the ones used. The 1/4" pin is very tight through wiper arm but with twisting etc it goes. All you lucky guys living where it's warm can ignore this.
