My mates wife is on her second. First one was great they say, this new one has had a couple of niggles but they still like it. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Back in 1964-65 I had a 1938 Vauxhall Model J 14hp - is that any help? Very Happy

Adam sounds like a bloody awful name for a car - are you sure it's a Vauxhall and not a Japanese car like a Cedric? Rolling with laughter thank goodness it never made it here. Ron B. VK2OTC

It's the different specs that are worse names
Jam, Glam and Slam Embarassed
There's an Energized one as well Crying or Very sad
Starship Enterprise Thumbs Up
The S model does look quite tasty, but too much me thinks for the good lady.
They do look well screwed together !!
There's a multitude of variations, colours, trim levels etc

Ahh. I just Googled it and found it's an Opel named after Adam Opel. Opel tried making a come back but that didn't last long. Vauxhall has been dead here since the early Sixties, the last being the HA Vauxhall Viva. (My girlfriend had one so it became our car when we married after I'd written off my Jag).

The Viva name was reintroduced a couple of years back on a reviled marque - Daewoo. They didn't last long but it was too long. Ron B. VK2OTC
