Grey plastic trim water marks? Anyway to clean and restore?

Hi

All my grey trim is discoloured with what looks like dark water marks. Tried a few cleaners but nothing touching it.

Is there anyway of cleaning these off?

Or is it a removing and paint job?

That looks exactly like tfr damage to me - been too strong or gone over the dwell time. My local car wash did the same to mine Big Cry
Spoke to a valeter pal - "repaint time mate sorry".
However, some g3 compound on a cloth and a lot of hard work has largely brought them back - so no repaint after all Thumbs Up

I thought peanut butter was for restoring faded colours back to normal? Oils and all that...

This looks like bleach splash but in reverse. Gone darker rather than lighter.

The grill, side vents and bonnet vents are all light this. I'll have a go with some G3. See what I can do.

Anybody ever used the wurth plasti PT? Current Family:

Yeah I agree. Tfr could well be the problem. It's certainly something that's been sprayed on.

G3 it is then. Current Family:

Yours isn't as bad as mine was, try some g10 first, may do ok.
You may find it easier to take trims off and sit down to do it in the warmth! Just remember to water-lube your compound.

Yes looks like it. But looks like the same problem so hopefully get the same results.

I've replied.

Well the answer has been found. No more marks on the plastic grill and vent trim.

Before and after picture.

Tried quite a few different products but the best and by far the quickest and cheapest.

Brasso wadding.

Few rubs and the marks disappeared and left with like factory finish. Current Family:
