Read this a few years ago: decide on the EXACT spec you want. Mass email dealers as far away as you're willing to travel and state you will buy the lowest offer made (cash deal, no financing). Make it clear that you will NOT come in for a test drive or chat and will only respond to an email/fax giving their final, on the road price. No negotiations at all. The original purchaser sent out about 100 emails, got seven replies that met her criteria and then bought her car for a very good deal. She had a 2 hour drive to pick it up. Of course. Thinks are more complicated with a used car or a trade in. |

They've been around Freelander 2's for years now. My Aunt & Uncle have had 3 and my folks have had one for a year so they know how they drive and what the differences are etc.

Which dealer David? SWMBO is interested in getting one and initially was looking at nearly new but at that price she might be persuaded to think about a shiny new one..... 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography (2021-2024) - Santorini Black 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster (2016-2021) - Santorini Black |
