So..... need 4 tyres..... I want Pirellis, but see the zeros are summer tyres..... do they work?

What did the cars have new?

The verde is also a summer tyre is it not?

Don't think I need winter tyres here.....

So should it be the zeros or the verde?

Thanks 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Right....so.... the verde as mentioned above, but I didn't click....are not the size I want, and I'm not paying another £100 pound a tyre for the all season version in my size... and they would have the wrong speed rating....

So it's now Pirelli Scorpion Zeros or Michelin latitude Diamaris if I've spelt that right...

Similar price..... what are your thoughts....?

Would normally buy top quality correct OE spec tyres and am generally a bit of a Pirelli fan so the choice would be 255/50 20 Scorpions but actually just had 255/55 20 Michelin Latitude Sports fitted and the ride quality and noise reduction are both measurably improved.

I have the scorpion verde all season plus that I use for summer .. winter here they are scary .. slip slide and no traction in more than 3 inches of snow .. cannot say what they are like in Europe ? Prob really good in the winter there .. but here in the -20 range they rubber goes solid and cannot deal with the harsh weather .. summer 😁They are smooth as hell and good all round .. as for size .. make your own mind up on that , for what's good for someone else might not be good for you .. hope ya get what ya want 👍

I'd be looking at the Verde 255/55/20's - there seems to be loads of them around and much cheaper than the 50 profiles.

Had 255/55 Verdes on the 2007 FF and really liked them. Found that increasing the pressures to 38psi all round improved the ride as well. The rears tended to wear on the outer edge, but I put that down to driving style on the twisting roads Laughing Had a full 4 wheel alignment done and all was spot on, before anyone mentions Very Happy

The new(er) FF comes with Conti's (255/50) - will see how I get on with them but will probably go back to the Verdes in 255/55 when I need to change. Regards

I highly recommend the Cooper LTZ all terrain tyre when looking at a 20 inch alternative.

I have used them daily for the last year and a half, had minimal wear, used them off-road with no concern at all, snow in the pass and they stuck very well.

Just my 2cents if you wanted another option!

If you check my post post history my build shows the tyre too. They are quite blocky in appearance, so provide a nice stance.
I have 20x9.5 with 275/45/20 for reference sake Thumbs Up Kiwi lad - Range Rover TD6 L322

Any thoughts on mitchelin latitude sport 3 tyres, been quoted £204 a corner for 275/45/20, which seems cheap going off prices on the net.comments appreciated Full fat 4.2 Sc

SHOULD I KEEP WITH CONTINENTAL 20'S WHEN THEY ARE DUE

Evening All,

Recently bought a 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8..

Has a set of Continental 255 50 R20 all round.

Whatever previous vehicle I have had and there have been a few, I have always opted for Pirelli.

What are the thoughts on switching or should i just stay with the same ?

Many thanks Very Happy

Thanks Stan...

Just signed up.

So when it comes to Pirelli Tyres... there seem various versions of the same size... any guidance would be appreciated.
