I note that Andy B also has a 5.0 SC AB same as me, we have a slightly different lower side moulding below the sill. Apparently JLR say it needs another £250 worth of plastic fitting as well, is this the case or can the existing trim be cut to accommodate the steps?

Actually looking through some old posts Craig did say the trims needed to come off but wasn't specific about whether anything was needed to replace them. If he lurks he can always PM me and I won't say anything to anyone.  Geoff

Just had a chat with Sytner and they didn't seem to sure if any bits need to be removed, but I was told not to worry as it is all included in the price. Now just waiting for a date when they can fit them.

just went into Hunters to get a price for them.

Parts were £389.00 which consisted of the module, the wiring and the steps and motors. that is a bargain, and was full retail aparently.

fitting is 3-4 hours as stated at £120 per hour plus the vat.

so all in could be done for 965  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
