United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Carpathian Grey
FFRR AB Arriving in March

Although i introduced myself on a different thread, i thought i'd put a post on here with my Order details.

Range Rover (L405) Autobiography TDV6
Premium Metallic - Carpathian Grey
Cirrus Semi Aniline Leather Style 24
Leather Ebony Headlining
22" 7 Split Spoke Diamond Turned Style 707 Wheels
Privacy Glass
Homelink
Sliding Panoramic Sunroof With Sunblind
Adaptive Xenon Headlamps With LED Signature
Additional Screen Washer Bottle
Touring Accessories - Luggage Net
Complete Wheel care Package

I did toy with the idea of the SDV8, but i'll unlikely ever be towing & the majority of my driving is long Motorway stints, so the extra power/torque wasn't attractive enough to offset the improved fuel economy the V6 will offer.

Also had the Meridian 1700w Signature System on my original spec but have now removed that in favour of the standard 825w Meridian system.

Never had any JLR vehicle in the past, but the FFRR has always been a vehicle i promised myself i'd own at some point in my car ownership history & now seemed as good a time as any.

Was originally taking delivery late March/early April 2017 as that's when my current F10 M5 goes back, however i've got BMW to agree to cover the final 2 payments so i can now take delivery of the AB in early February but makes sense to hold off until March 1st to get the new 17 Reg.

Got a reasonable discount from the Dealer, although it's never as much as one would like, but they've thrown in a free 1st service & the complete wheel care package at cost so this sweetened the deal a little.

Really looking forward to the car arriving as this is totally left field against the cars i've owned to date, but the idea of luxurious cruising rather than rapid hooning is certainly appealing.

Fingers crossed the car lives up to my expectations, as being a MY17 i hope the niggles i've read about on here will be a thing of the past.

I do wish LR would sort out the configurator so that it shows as RHD in the UK.... Rolling Eyes 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
