Vogue 2012 DRL question

First of all I want to say hi to all and I am glad to be the part of as I can see biggest RR community to date.

I have question regarding my "new" 2012 RR Vogue Autobiography which I purchased 3 days ago.

When I put my light switch to Auto or 0 it turns DRL and Xenon lights all together. And when I put it to PARK lights it lights up only DRL led's. How to turn off xenon on auto and only DRL led to lit up?

^ Daves correct..the little dots in the headlights are dual purpose and act as sidelights and drls ..the drls can be activated with the gap iidtool... ... - .- -.

Aha, does that mean I can turn mine off (L405) with said IID tool? Not a lover of DRLs personally.

Censored ! So fairy lights have to remain then. Surely they are switchable though for countries where DRL are not required?

might be possible Dom, a pm to GAP should confirm..

@stefan,

GAP iidtools are vin locked to each vehicle for CCF adjustments and the pro versions are worth around £1000 and i very much doubt if any one with one of those would lend it out.. ... - .- -.

Are there any used ones? It is to much for me to pay that kind of money for car that will be in my possession for 2-3 years.

I was at dealer yesterday and they are not able to turn my DRL on. I mean ONLY DRL. They can turn them ON with xenon or off... Not able to turn only DRL on... Hmmmmm... What should I do now? Is there any workaround?
