i have the gap tool but have been offered a t4 complete set up at a reasonable price is there much more that this does from the obd11 gap tool?

To start with, it is not VIN locked and can be used on Rover Cars as well as Land Rover

The IID has more capabilities than T4 for the FF, so as you have one, not much point buying T4, unless it's very cheap...  Pete

price wise its a great deal I wouldn't be buying for using on any one elses car but am looking at buying a rover 75 at some point and it seems to do all on them as well I feel it will be 600 well spent as cant see any elsewhere for less than 2 plus grand its total genuine and off a pals garage which is shutting

If I was you I would grab it with two hands! And if you ever want to sell it on I will be very happy to take it off your hands.

I thought as much just picked up a 4 post car lift the t4 and loads of snap on tools and a massive compressor off the guy for £ 1100 hes going to run over and set the lift up and show me how to use the t4 as well bargain me thinks

When you are up and running with the T4 I'd be really interested in what it offers as far as the software updare for the engine and transmission ECU for an 04 4.4 Petrol

Make sure it has the red OBD lead. You will need it for an early L322 and maybe the Rover 75.

it has all the leads and is still in a garage working but is closing down this week also a few spare parts thrown in .the lift is going to be very handy as I have a facel vega to start refurbing

Please show pics of the Facel. I think they are one of the most prettiest cars ever but I have never seen one in the flesh.
