Well, it's a definitely a touchy subject.

I am am prepared to help anyone but in return I want a little honesty. There is an element here that is trying to abuse our generosity but we are at fault for speaking up about it. 😡

Som of these p plea have fled thie country because they are scared of being killed but then they want to dictate which country they want to live in 🤔 I'm not saying they have not fled I. Fear but surely anywhere is better than where they fled from.

I very much doubt that any of the rhetoric being spouted actually represents the thoughts of the man on the street.

What I cant understand is how come these folk have actually managed to get as far as Calais. Are they not supposed to claim asylum in the first country of arrival? Just another example of how the EU project is a pointless waste of time.

These f**kers know the UK is an easy touch. Far too often I see do-gooders, libralists and tree huggers interviewed on the subject all content for us to become another Germany - over-run and suffering the consequences. The British / English identity is already being eroded by communities which don't intergrate and impose their will on the masses, we don't need any more!!! Cards on the table; I have no problem with immigration. What I do have a problem with is unrestricted immigration:-

According to ONS and other official figures, over the last ten years (or just over) the population of this country has increased from just over 58m to about 65m (latest census) with a corresponding 2m (approximately) leaving the UK over the same period.

That equates to between 7m and 9m foreign nationals moving to this country over a ten year period by official figures.

Here is my gripe; where is the extra provisions for eduction, health, social care, policing etc etc and of course, housing. I can't remember a time when every politician hasn't been bleating on about shortage of housing, the strains on the NHS, sympathy for teachers etc etc, and yet those muppets A. still haven't slowed the deluge B. still insist on selling off social housing C. still sell of hospitals and close wards as though somehow, demand and need has decreased etc etc.

I don't blame the people wanting to come here; I blame the politicos (starting with Blair/Brown for instigating the policy of open door immigration) and the bleeding hearts for their disjointed thinking, for their pathetically naive ideological mindset, for their inability to see what the effect is at ground zero (or more accurately, for not caring) and most of all for casting the racist label as soon as someone as much utters, "But what about....?"

My hope is that Brexit will mean an end to this insanity and those responsible for trying to plan for providing for the populace and planning for future demand will have time to catch up because we never will with open borders.

Go the Australia way, immigration coming in yeh no issue with that but as long as its based on a points system if you cant help this country then politely go away.

The main reason they want to come to the EGB (European Great Britain) sorry spelt that wrong its the EB (European Britain) nothing great about this country any more is we are a soft touch and have no balls or backbone and the suits in Whitehall are a shameless bunch of arseholes.

Interesting thread, most of which I agree with, I do not think anyone should come into the country without being vetted and cleared. You just have to look at what is happening in other parts of Europe to see the devastation which is occurring. BBC and $ky are biased media so we do not get the true picture of events here or abroad, we have to look to R.T or the internet for unbiased news.
