United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Galway Green
OBD Diagnostics Software

Hi guys,

I've got a VW and use a USB cable and some software to check faults and make changes to the vehicle such as auto lock when over 10mph etc...

What is the equivalent for Range Rovers? What's the name of the software and what type of cable do i require?

Also, I'm planning to replace the seals on the compressor using the kit from bagpipe andy http://www.bagpipingandy.com/index.html but will supposedly need to reset the error message after taking the compressor out. I presume the software I'm after will allow me to do this?

Thanks

Unfortunatly the ffrr is of mulit national origin and only talks LR, not OBD especially if it's a diesel Evil or Very Mad There are a few things out there that will talk to parts of the car, but the only 2 products that will talk to the whole car are the Land Rover Test Book with the associated Shocked Shocked price and the Gap IID Tool... which is very portable and will work in the middle of a field, providing that the problem isn't a flat battery Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
