In all honesty, it's not a hugely difficult job, just a little fiddly

Done a set on Wednesday just past. Think it took me 3 hours, including finding tools scattered around the workshop after leaving on Tuesday in a bad mood Embarassed

I believe that Joe90 put up a link for TDV8 Rave... think that Stan put it in wiki.. At least with Rave you'd know how to do it, can be a good read when you want to depress yourself Laughing

But in all honesty my Range Rover wouldn't function without Raven Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Well I decided today to log into the tracker fitted to the FFRR and I was surprised that the original garage took it for a 2 mile drive then I can see when I collected it and took it to this LR specialist.

Well they drove it for 2 miles then 17 miles then another few miles and this was after I dropped it off to them on Friday which then drove it on that day Sat, Sunday and also on Monday.

They emailed me after I asked them for a detailed price before the repair and the lady emailed back saying she has told the technicians to pull the car off the ramps and wait for the boss to supply the quote tomorrow.

The car is now showing by the tracker at their location.

So, I can u understand the reason to drive and hear a few knocks I said needs fixing but close on 20 plus miles with a Censored EGR valve is not on so.....

Where do I now stand.

Anyone? Range Rover quotes.....

Whistle Think I'd be looking for another Indy Whistle

I would really want to know why they had to test drive over 3 days and such a large distance... different if it went in with a hot running fault... but even then you'd expect it to be only road tested once... Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Final bill for 2x EGR valves £1103.76p

Also I have a clunking from the front and they had a look and they said its from the struts so that's another £700 plus to get that fixed, but that's another days job. Range Rover quotes.....
