Thanks Stan. It really is. I'm not looking to get a huge profit out of it. Just asking honest money for an honest car! If no one wants it on here I'll put it on the usual sites and ask more. I may even just run it through the winter as its never put a foot wrong and I've been lucky with all my RR's. Never had the engine or gear box issues. Touch wood that luck remains with any new purchase! Smile 2011 Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE

Agree with Stan, they wont come any cheaper. Try selling it elsewhere, on this site people only buy parts that are very cheap. Never seen a car on here that was sold to a sitemember apart from me buying one a few years ago. Which turned out to be a great buy. Had it for two years and never lost a penny on it. Succes with the sale. Thumbs Up
Regards
Robert

Thanks Robert thats really unhelpful for your information I paid what he was asking and I bought to use privately. If I do sell then I certainly will not be making 5k maybe 2 K gross less VAT & business expenses you really do live in a DREAM WORLD Sad

Did not see you bought it Gaz. Otherwise I probably not had added that sentence out of polightness towards a forummember.

But you and I know that the margin on cars is somewhere between 3 and 5 K. Nothing to be angry or ashamed about. It's bussinessss. I don't mind people getting rich or earning a good living. I was 46 when I sold my companies and stopped working. So don't get upset about my "dreamworld".

Wish you a lot of save miles and cheap bills with your purchase and enjoy a fine evening

Robert

^ Sorry Robert but on a 2007/57 car with 153000 miles the CAP margin is £1980:

Land Rover Range Rover (02-12) - Adjusted Valuation
3.6 TDV8 VOGUE 4d Auto
2007 / 57 reg
153000 miles

Original Price £62,600
Franchised Dealer £9,855
Independent Dealer £9,255
Private Good £8,405
Private Poor £6,830
Part Exchange £7,275

I (and most other indy dealers) use CAP valuations in all my car dealings. I really should not have to prove this to you and if you think any independent dealer works on £5k margins even on £40k cars then again you are living in a dream world where all car dealers are bad guys....

Feel free to check the above figures they are correct as of today. Thumbs Up

PS: I sold my finance company and retired at 44 Whistle Laughing

Looks like I will be keeping her for at least three months while my wife waits for her new factory order 2017 Tiguan SEL but if she likes the Fatty then she is going to cancel the Tiguan and keep the TDV8. Very Happy

PS: It may even get a 2012 Facelift/Wheels as she is quite demanding Laughing

You don't have to prove anything to me Mr. Elliot. I obviously stepped on a sour toe, and I don't mean the ones in the cocktailbar in Dawson. That was not my intention. To stay in tune with this theme... In Holland we have an expression: whom the shoe fits, wears it.
Goodnight, I'll dream on.
