P0405-21 EGR Sensor A Circuit Low

I'm struggling to find a decent answer on this fault code for the TDV8 engine.

The fault seams to relate to the EGR position sensor, Its an intermittent fault that is getting progressively worse, it doesn't put the car in limp mode but does throw the light on.

If I clear the code and restart the car after the fault has flagged up then I can monitor the command and actual postion of both EGRs and they seam to perform as should.

1 specialist is saying its as I think and its just a dodgy sensor, replace both EGRs while your in there and you'll be fine.
The 2nd gave me the doomsday speech about turbos, I'm really struggling to figure out how an EGR sensor fault can relate to a turbo??? If it was stuck wide open running on hot gas all the time then its plausible.

The car drives faultlessly other than that, no smoke etc
I've just spent the weekend dragging a 20ft flatbed round with it to relocate a double concrete sectional garage that my brother bought and I've had the code come up 3 times.

It's parked up now and I'm a bit wary of driving it any further other than to a garage that can't fit me in until monday Big Cry

bad luck definitely comes in 3s TV broke, Phone broke, now car broke Censored Current
