I was looking at the 10inch model but will probably wait until the iPad 2 model comes out.

It really depends on what you want it for. It will allow you to browse the web and being an Archos product, play pretty much any video file. Perhaps the one weakness is that the Android Market is not available for this device (there is a hack to get it on there). Archos have installed AppsLib instead which has a lot of titles but not as vast as the Android Marketplace. Paul

Well if Archos commit to updating these devices to Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread (Google are expected to announce it today) and Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb, then this makes the price for the Archos 7 a really good one. Both of these updates are going to be a lot more focused on the tablet devices and the tablet experience. Paul
