Hi,

I am just organizing my first bit of maintenance since purchasing my RR. I have come across Dakar in Dartford (Not far from me) as a recommended LR garage. Has anyone had any experience of them? I would like some 1st hand views if possible.

They have quoted the following (inclusive of parts labour and VAT)

Megaflush and filter change £615

Inspection 2 £480

Any comments on them or the prices welcomed. I am driving to France over Christmas and would like the car in decent shape before i leave.

I have known Barry, the owner, for 30 odd years, in the early days they were good value and reliable, we lived in Hextable at the time...

I have several friends with Land Rover products who still live nearby...

All of them would rather use the main dealer.....
