Right, so I've had a chat with a vehicle wrapper so they're going to look at wrapping the roof.

I also did just shy of 600 miles in the last 2 days as I needed to drive from Aberdeen to Cambeltown to visit a client site. What a drive. It was absolutely tipping down with rain but the RR is just such a good place to sit.

The car averaged 43mph for the journey which was about 250 miles on dual carriageways and the rest on A-roads. The average consumption was a strong 31.2mpg which I was rather impressed with.

Also during the journey this momentous occasion occurred!

There was one issue to report. I think I may have warped the front discs. There were times I was rather enjoy the open, but damp, roads and some repeated heavy braking was going on. The discs are 40k old although I'm on my 3rd set of pads (one through wear and the next due to brake squeal that LR swapped under warranty) so they're likely wearing thin and i think I must have just put too much heat into them.

I have a new pair of fronts ordered so I'll swap them over myself sometime soon.

Also my wife has come clean to me to say that she has misplaced the remote heater control! So I've ordered a couple of those (we only had one previously but it's useful to have one per key) from an eBay seller and will investigate how I go about programming. I have a suspicion that this will involve a minor fleecing from LR....

Car going in for roof to be wrapped on Friday. Will post pics of the results.

New fobs have arrived and, rather pleasingly, LR advise that they will take only a few mins to programme. On that basis in not expecting a charge! Current Fleet;

Another couple of small changes made.

I changed the front grille out for the latest Autobiography version and at the same time fitted some gloss black lower grilles in the bumper too. It's a smarter look overall so we're pleased.

See below the before and then two after pics.

it is easy - 4 or five screws on the top and the bottom is clipped - 10 minutes job. Cool All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

Neo,

As Angel said it's a really simple job. It was literally 2 mins for me.

You'll need a flat headed screwdriver for the push-type fastenings on the top of the grille. The centre lifts out completely and the part remaining will lift out meaning the upper part of the grille is free.
The lower section is secured by some clips which just pull out. Be careful to pull straight out rather than down or to the side as I suspect these could break if detached in the wrong direction.

Refitting is very very easy. Current Fleet;
