heated steering wheel

Apologies for all the posts Mad trying to do as much on the fatty as I can without handing it over to a garage and this forums been a great help ! anyway when I press the button for the heating on the wheel it briefly flashes red then goes off?
All the other functions on the wheel seem to work...weathers about to turn up here in sunny Edinburgh so the heated wheel will be a godsend...

New steering wheel then! Definitely on the urgent to-do list ...heading out to work november/december in minus conditions warrants a new one I think Laughing
