Phone battery was flat yesterday morning, 70% used up during the night with nothing being used, so I did the following plus a full charge of the battery. At 2:00pm yesterday I disconnected the charger and made a couple of calls and checked emails. By bedtime the battery was at 97% and this morning a healthy 94% Thumbs Up

If you did an OTA (Over the Air) update to 10.0.2 (through settings-general-software update) and are experiencing major issues (especially rapid battery drain), follow these steps to fix your iPhone/iPad and get a working. 10.0.2

Use iTunes on a Mac or Windows Computer

Connect iPhone/iPad using USB-lightning cable

Click the "Backup" button (to back up your data - be sure to select Account-Authorizations-Authorize This Computer if you want to backup all your apps too)

When Backup has completed successfully, Click the "Restore Backup" button and follow prompts

Enjoy a problem free update as it should be

Avoid OTA Updates until Apple make this feature dependable and trustworthy...

47p2 might be on to something there.

Rolled mine back to 9 to see if it was better, and here didn't seem to be much difference so.....forwards again to 10 while plugged in, fiddled with a few settings like background app refresh etc and now the situation has improved somewhat Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

But you've changed settings with background app refresh which are known to drain batteries as they constantly look every few minutes or so for new info... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

It's now almost 30 hours since I charged my iPhone and I've made 3 or 4 calls, done emails, and about 5 minutes web surfing and it's still showing 82% battery life... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Turned the refresh off on it the first time too. It seems to default to on when you update tho. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
