Very nice Lup... Might i suggest an LED full beam upgrade rather than Xenon as its quicker to get full power from modern LED bulbs Thumbs Up

I'm looking for range in my High-beams Craig and LED is still significantly behind in that area, allthough they are catching up.

btw. The HIDs were tested last night and they were an improvement but still loose big time to a couple of halogen Bosch rallye 225 (a 30 year old design) in the front. I really don't wish to put such monstrosities in the front of my car but I may be forced to do it.
Empty roads, pitch black, plenty of moose and other wildlife and a speed limit of 110kph is not a good combination. Good lighting with both width and length is essential. The 50m closest to the car (where I now have most of my light) is irellevant as it's already too late if a moose steps in there... **********

Yesterday Tuktuk got new shoes.
After a period of scanning for used LR rims in the size I want (8.5Jx20) and also to my tasting I have failed. Theres seem to be a lot of 9.5" rims available but I don't want to go wider than original. There are also a variety of copies or possible copies of unknown origin that I wouldnt use if I got them for free.
Instead I went for new quality MAK Highlands with gun metal and polished finish. Time will tell if this was a good choice.

As for the rubber this forum has been most interesting to read. After a lot of reading and a lot of thinking i decided to go with 255/55x20 General Grabber AT. My goal was to get a little smoother ride, a little better traction when leaving the asphalt and also I like the tread.
