oh dear - wiper blades

Finally got around to getting picking up some screen wash and while i was in the shop i 'ordered' a set of front wiper blades. The shop has ordered Bosch for model from 03/2005. Now i remember reading somewhere that nobody except Land Rover have the replacement wipers for FFRR.
My worry tomorrow is that i end up explaining in english that they don't/won't fit and the gentleman behind the counter who has kindly ordered them from Holland will be insisting that i do take them.
I have looked on the internet and i cannot see bosch doing replacements for FFRR.
Does anyone have previous experience of this?.

Other people do supply the wipers.

These are from Trico (but in UK unfortunately for you)

Thanks Fox, i'm questioning myself as to why the bosch ones won't fit. Surely as long as they are 640mm and using one of the fitting options they should, shouldn't they. It seems funny that he did confirm made from 03 2005 and pointed at mine in the car park [only car there!]. Would they make them for other models [RRS] ?.

For over £20 you may as well buy genuine?

Ah, see your point.

That date could be around the start of the RRS. Maybe they ordered them for a Sport, not for The Range Rover.

I doubt these are genuine, although they do list the manufacturer (of the part) as Land Rover:

I bought these, as they are genuine:

Fox, my thoughts are exactly that RRS and not FFRR. I will take my glasses up for him.

The ones for the Sport are a different size and here's the thing... Bosch do them.
Sizes here:

So you may well have an order in for the RRS ones...

Looks like i'll be taking a tape measure with me - that way there can be no discussion - perhaps also a pic of a RRS just to point out the difference! Many thanks indeed - now where is the nearest friendly dealer to me anywhere except Leuven.

edited.....Strange i have found an ex-LR dealer in Mechelen through the LR site, they are still authorised for servicing, repairs, parts. Quick call and confirmed Bosch for RRS not FFR - he has my required ones in stock, collecting them tomorrow am. Perhaps then i'll be able to see out my window.
Of couse i will also see the auto factors man and cancel the RRS ones.

Again, many thanks for all of your input. I do like this site.

I was told there are no flat blades wipers for the FFRR but you can get them for the sport ......

The blades are thinner in the middle so no other blade will ever fit, unless one dramatically changes the arm...
Trico look to be like the original ones (but they have a similar price too)...

I found these guys a while back. Not sure if anyone would be interested? possible group buy? Anyone with manufacturing contacts may be able to reverse engineer them?

I emailed them and they could supply both wipers and adapters

I buy now Bosch or Valeo whatever fitting, as long as they are 640 mm long.
Then I only swap out the rubber and ....done.
Peugeot uses the same fitting type, the left one has the same lenght, the right one is shorter.
One can order only the left but prices are similar to LR.
