Xmas light

Hi,
I have numerous electric issues;
1/ Each time I start the engine hazard switch on automatically. I push the hazard button and it stops, no worries but next time I'll start same story again.
2/ When I stop the engine, the steering wheel goes to the top but the steering tilt motor continues to work until I touch the switch control;
3/ Airbag light is always on.
4/ Intermittently most of the dashboard light come on. I just have to re start and it's fine until it comes comes again.
5/ Regularly I have different alert message, "Suspension inactive" "Trans fail safe mode" It comes and goes
6/ When I stop the car and close it, I have the red light close to the descent switch that goes on until I unlock the door next day;
7/ Sometimes when I lock the car the screen of the radio (sat nav) switch on with Land Rover logo and doesn't switch of. I need to reopen & to restart & close the car again to make sure the radio is off with black screen.

Any idea what goes wrong there?

I also discover today on passenger side it seems I have a water leek, should be AC. I did not investigate yet. But no smell and no taste;

That's all for today.

Otherwise what a great car. I love it so much but those electrical issues scared my wife now I have to fix it.

I really need your help;

Hi Patrickthier.

If you have a multimeter , start the car and check the voltage going into the battery from the alternator and post back the result.

Also, how old is the battery? GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

Hi,

Battery is almost new, less than 2 months.
I dropped the car to the shop this morning, I did not check the voltage but I'll do as soon as I get it back.
Another issue came during the week end, engine seems to have only few cylinders working from time to time with tachometer moving from 1 to 1.2 and accelerator absolutely ineffective. I have to turn off and turn on and everything goes well!!! Until next start.

I know what British engineering means now! Luckily that's BMW engine.

The symptoms sound like a low voltage issue. First, check the battery connections are tight. Next after car has gone to sleep check the battery voltage. It should be 12.6v plus, being a new battery. The next check would be the alternator. ______________________________

For the time being, it seems to be AC related.
Passenger carpet is / was full of water.
We use AC 10 months a year here. I don't know for how long passenger carpet has been wet. It damages a couple of electric connector / wiring.
Some new pics.

Let it dry and see how it goes
