Yeah it's been interesting getting about this week. Whoever said mud terrain tyres aren't good in snow doesn't know what they're talking about. They're brilliant, effortlessly pulls through even fresh deep snow, I'm talking snow deep enough to turn the front bumper into a snow plough too! 2006 Mercedes CLS

However I have no intention of trying to sell my cars here even if I had permission (8 fine car's sold in last 4 weeks so really no need - honest).

I like Range Rovers as do all members and I was under the impression that pictures of never seen before examples were in demand.....

You must just be a natural salesman then, getting the age, reg plate, spec and engine in when talking about the window washers. Laughing

Not a problem for me, just find it amusing.

PS: Having owned 6 Range Rovers personally I believe I do have a little experience in the subject matter and occasionally have something to contribute. Its quite difficult to separate my long term interest in Range Rovers from my NEW business adventures - so let Martin do the telling off please.

We had a slight thaw here today along with a sleet shower and now it is freezing over with lots of black ice. The perfect combination for fun on the roads tomorrow Big Cry Big Cry

Well the snow might be disappearing, although I'm sure it will return just in time to close all airports the day I fly home from Singapore.................... so here's a picture of my poor, lonely and nearly stolen FFRR frozen under a blanket of snow. My dad has been going up daily and clearing snow off the front screen so the solar battery charger can do it's job of keeping the battery topped - he was amazed to find the charger still charging up the battery (there is an indicator light that shows it is putting juice into the battery) even with the screen covered with snow! Shows just how little light these solar panels really need if they can c ope with a screen covered in snow

Mike - little is the operative word Thumbs Up The car has only 5mm clearance on each side with the mirrors folded and the door opens upward rather than to the side so even in access mode is about 1cm too high................................. but the biggest reason for not using the garage is that I have 16 wheels and tyres and a trailer filled with garden tools and general junk in there! I have access to a huge shed (where my Defender resides while I am away) but until that has a spring clean there isn't enough room in there for the FFRR along with the Motorhome, 2 Hondas, 4 Austin Healey's , the Defender, more wheels and tyres for all the foregoing and all my parents gardening junk! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
