Have driven across to Sonthofen and Wertach (Bavaria - not a million miles from where you're heading), and also Neustift (Austria - just south of Innsbruck). Both areas have decent skiing!

Hello, Achen-Bonn-Ulm etc etc is a great way. Use it most years when going to the Dolomites. Have stayed at Holiday Inn just outside of Heidelberg (Hockenheim). also stayed in Memmingen. Remember Sonthofen from when i was in the mob [a long time ago]. Watch out for the Brussel ring during rush hour. Have a good trip. |

td6, cor it was a long time agao but i think it was 'pension herb' or something like that. Very nice after along drive, good beer, food and comfy bed. Breakfast was the usual continental fair, cheeses meats etc etc. It wasn't booked in advance just that the Fern Pass was closed evern for RR Classics. |

If I were you I'd get them changed on the way if you can't find in the UK. UK seems in very short supply at the moment and prices are going up, but that's not the case in Germany. PM me if you need a hand booking in somewhere. http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?deta...sowigan=Wi These Vredestein's are 273 chf which is about £178. Have fun in St. Anton. Been there a couple of times and it's a nice place. |
