My drivers side heated seat has been playing up for a while, sometimes it heats, mostly it dosent. Its always cooled but now the cooling has stopped. I have a good idea on how the seats work ie the peltier cell and suspect its failing. Just wondering if this would affect the cooling side of things aswell. The fan starts for about 30 secs then stops.

The heated side requires a return from a heat sensor but the cooled side is just closed loop , when they start to fail it always the heat function that goes first followed eventually by the whole cell . Have you had the codes read ? 2008 MY Supercharged

Yeah when the service was done it said something like drivers side fluid leak.

Yep Peltier cell is fubar'd , Always seems to be the drivers back one . Duckworth Dan is your man he has the best price . It's a seat out job I'm afraid bring a friend they are heavy .
