Took it to Armour Guard in Oldbury, 5 mins from J2 M5. Very impressed with the result- had the rears done in dark smoke and the two front windows in a shade lighter. From a distance, it all looks the same colour.

These guys do main dealer cars, one being Sytner BMW just down the road from them. There was a 58 plate 3 series in there today.

I take it the fronts are a legal shade?

Do they do it while you wait, or do you need to leave the car with them?

If it's not too rude, how much did it cost?

Not too far from me so may have to make the trip for that price. Cheers.

Before I do though. Does anybody know what are the negatives about having tints done?

Do they peel off over time?
Do they scratch and are they easy to clean?
How easy do they come off in the future (is there a danger of harming the heater elements etc)?
Anything I haven't thought about?

I suspect that the tint applicators won't go into detail on the negatives!
