Ireland 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Corris Grey

Just an update.

Got the new key today and got the blade cut ( 10 euro ) and it's working perfectly. Just waiting on GAP to send me the full instructions on reprogramming

The original key stop working today and because I had replaced the case with a cheap eBay job I was able to open the case and have a look. The battery ( which is soldered into place ) has broken it's negative connector and so I bought one locally. (VL2330 Panasonic ) and a mate soldered it in and hey presto, it's working perfectly

4 euro for the battery and aping for my mate. Nice cheap fix

I will revert once key is reprogrammed and report 2015 4.4 AB

Thanks Pat. I've got the full instructions from you on email. Key didn't work but it was the key. When I opened the case the circuit board was almost bare compared to the original so I sent it back and I have ordered another one

Thanks again , your email support is amazing 2015 4.4 AB

I'm having trouble programming the new spare key. The IID tool seems to lock up when I put the new key in. The dialogue box says programming key.

I start the programming process with my usual key, then the genuine 2nd key, then the new key.

After a few minutes I quit the app and restart it. The dialogue box is still there. This is what the screen looks like.

I have to quit the app and unplug the IID module to get rid of the dialogue box.

Any suggestions?

OK now Im in real trouble as none of my keys now work. I had school holidays plans for the day and now no car. Big Cry

GAP have been helpful with suggestions. But due to time difference they aren't going to answer for another 12 hrs.

The IID tool froze when re-programing the first key. Now car won't start on any key. Censored

Any suggestions?

Im a slow learner, don't assume technology will work. ______________________________

yes latest version , but I have been told by gap it doesn't have that function yet

can you confirm you have used a non bt version successfully to programme a brand new key ?

I only have ever had the one key and if I can buy a new key and fob from ebay and get it cut and programme it myself well its a no brainer really

cheers

Hi. I haven't actually being able to get the correct key BUT I have used the non BT IID tool to try !! The programme is in the tool and its self explanatory on the steps. I have had email exchanges with GAP and they have confirmed my non BT tool has the capability but they did stress about having a genuine key 2015 4.4 AB
