Had a play in a MY 17 Auotobiography today and the new sat nav is both much faster and a big improvement in graphics etc.
As you already probably know it's the same system as used on Jaguars and a big improvement on the clunky current setup. Nothing else has changed from MY16.5 either internally or external, it's purely a tech upgrade but long awaited.
The new Barillo black or whatever it's called looked the nuts in the sunlight, a real inky blue black.

A big step forward, all they need to do is work on the reliability.

Andy are you sure about the colour? I thought the new blue black was Farallon Black. Did you get a picture.?

Yes, I think you are right there. Whatever it's called it's rather nice.

Isn't there a silver accent on the side grills now?

btw according to my dealer the new ones will get the LED lights. All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

Looks fab in that new colour, a sort of dark inky blue if you know what I mean. My next one will be that red colour that everyone was raving about on here a few days back..
I can't quite get the man maths to work to justify changing after just a year so I'll hold off until next September but the new electronics will make it a worthwhile wait. Meanwhile I'll stick with my clunky old Clive Sinclair designed system like everyone else.

I have it on good form that 18MY is the one to wait for.
