Yep thats me a dork. My steering wheel wasn't pointing straight ahead after I refitted it when I fitted paddle shifters, so disconnect battery, remove airbag, take out the nut holding the steering wheel, rotate a bit and do all the steps in reverse to refit and Voila all fixed, not a bit of it I rotated the wheel in the wrong direction so now its worse than before - what a dork!! If you've got to remove it again, why not fit one of these instead (look closely)...

In my defence the marks don't line up and I moved the wheel to make them line up better, i should have moved the wheel in the opposite direction. I guess the car has had a four wheel alignment done with the wheel "out" and so thats where it should be. Geoff |
