Cant believe my fuel economy!

On saturday morning we set off on a 400+mile trip to Scotland. Filled the Range rover up with normal diesel and headed off. Now we are here we have covered 540 miles and still have a range of 155 miles Shocked Shocked

The current average MPG is reading 34.9!! Which for a 4.4 diesel i think is brilliant Bow down
This car continues to impress me Cool

agree, these 4.4 tdv8 engine are brilliant..

i got around 33mpg at 90mph [1500rpm] on a recent euro jaunt and i can imagine what the mpg would be at 65mph for instance... ... - .- -.

Have now done almost a 1000 miles and still got over half the second tank left. Almost cheaper than walking Rolling with laughter

Averaged 19mpg driving down to the Peterborough show and back last weekend.
Much better than the 13.5mpg I am used to driving to and from work. Not Galway but Balmoral green actually
148,000 miles

I'm just plain baffled . Full tank to full tank test last weekend saw a figure of 35.7 mpg returned on my day trip to London. This week, same test saw just 30.mpg on the return trip to Bournemouth.
