I bought some LED ones and they worked fine for about 6 months and then I kept getting the "bong" check number plate light so I ditched them and went back to standard. they never flickered as they were canbus but had a habit of rotating around in the holders and as they were single sided (and not like a festoon bulb) that meant constant checking to ensure the light was the right way round. To be honest the light from them (either type) is not great as my car has a reversing camera surround on the number plate so really its not an issue for me |

I had eBay can bus ones and worked ok for a while and then started getting multiple light fault bongs but none relating to the number plate lights though.
