It's going to be very, very dark inside. Regardless of the wood finish. |

Personally if it was me I would choose the Piano Black, but as Fox said, It will be a dark Interior whatever trim you choose. Burr looks good though, not my first choice, but still very nice regardless. Your decision at the end of the day. |

I have dark car (Baltic Blue) and went for jet interior and piano black - looks very nice. I don't have jet headliner though as think this makes it very dark. The light (Ivory) headliner looks good and lightens the interior sufficiently IMO.

Think I would choose the Piano Black over the Burr Wood trim.

Welcome to the club Russ, there's an awful lot of black inside that spec - I drove an all black interior 4.4TDv8 at the presentation day in Edinburgh and it was very very dark inside especially so with the privacy glass too. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Thanks for all the replys - think I am going to change the order as there is plenty of time to do so to Jet seats and carpet with the light roof liner and piano black although I think the burr wood would possible blend in with the new choice "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

Same here, sand interior with burr wood, classic...mind you at the time of purchase it was in the showroom so what you see is what you get, but very happy

I really like that new blue... Mine is buck blue, again preferred to the black on black on black that was the other option available.

One thing to remember with the Piano Black trim is that it scratches very easily....

This is the colour I have and it looks absolutely great in the showroom. Looks brilliant in the open in sunshine, really nice metalics coming through, golds, purples blues etc - very good. In normal light, gray cloudy light it looks quite flat and gray-blue in colour - not bad at all, just different. Actually think it suits the surrounding light. Was considering a blue interior instead of jet but advised against it by the dealer. When looking at the sample swatches he was right. The new blue has an element of gray, unlike the old Buck blue, which was very blue. The gray seats would suit it better than blue, I opted for Jet as personally not keen on gray. |
