finally got fed up with the revs fluctuating ,brought a gearbox and t/c had them reconditioned,my mate put it in on fri seems to be really smooth now only done 30 miles so hope it has fixed it ,sending the old gearbox to be checked over the torque converter is under warranty so that will go back if the gearbox is ok the gearbox place drove it and said it was sure it was the t/c,we will see,i will have a spare gearbox and t/c then.
