Hawthorn Parking is pre-'66 - "Revival Car Show" is the tax-free one.

A great fun day was had, arrived at 8am and parked in the pre 76 carpark in my Classic RR (i presumed they would not know a 1971 - 1995 model Whistle )

We spent a brilliant DRY day Very Happy and left at nearly 10pm to a clear run home...

If you want to see a bit more of goodwood revival look it up on itv4 for the on demand highlights, or on YouTube. It doesn't show the fashion that much, which is great fun, and there are even prizes for that!
But it is a very special Best of Britishness, type of atmosphere. With parades, fly pasts, and some real proper racing.
Plenty of thrills, and heart stopping moments, best to get a glimpse of a large screen on the area you choose to sit etc. However, watching the racing, means you are missing out on some atmosphere, and side stalls etc. It might be a good idea, to go, without a ticket, just to view all the cars, in the large car parks, like a car show! And return with your ticket on the other day to lap up the action. We had the best weather, and a thoroughly good day. It felt almost forbidden as we were walking around the pits, with cars just parked up...beautiful.
Here are a hand full of the 1500 shots I took. (Canon7d, 24-105 L F4. and 70-200 2.8L)

I've modified the links, and they now click, but I thought they might display as picture, not file link.

Any tips?
Somehow, the running order has been lost, so apologies.
...and the image quality, is very low. But the originals are pin sharp.

You need to upload them to something like Photobucket then copy the link from there to the forum.

Having said that, giving just the link saves space on the forum. Thumbs Up John
