2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Alveston Red
My Alveston Red MY2006 TD6 Vogue - Eventually

After 6 Months of searching. I've ended up with this. I have looked at aproximately 15 RR over the last 6 months and i cannot believe how bad some of them were. Especially as i was limiting my search to 2005 or later!

I cannot fault this one at all. I researched this car to death, speaking to everybody and anybody who's name was in the service history Very Happy

I don;t think anyone has ever sat in the back, or anything ever been in the boot! The towbar was still wrapped in the boot!

50k Miles. Registered in July 2005, but a 2006 Model, so all the touch screen nav, reverse camera, and the new front end!.

The independent dealer i got it from was the most helpful ever, nothing too much trouble and put a fresh MOT on it for my peace of mind, even though it had 5 months left! Even though this cost peanuts compared to most of the other cars there, which included a £400k F50 and a £320k F40, amongst a myriad of Astons etc..

He had taken this in PX, and said he didn;t usually keep them, but this was so good he decided to use it personally.

I personally love the Red, others don't. I learnt to drive in a Red P38 which i used to love Very Happy

Freshly Cleaned!

Well done Avi Thumbs Up

Pic 1 looks great, red is growing on me especially with the facelift front. Will you consider tints or no?

Mike.

Nice red I must admit.

Yes it is.. i did have a look to see if vould get down the lane thats's next to it.. It's one of the few green lanes still around this area. A defender did it and an old Pajero, but i decided it was a bit too much for me until i get a bit of experience Laughing

Thanks all ! I really love the colour combo. looks so much nicer to me than the next door neighbours silver one ! Apologies if i've posted this on my phone and it contains strange spelling and punctuation.. i just can't be bothered to correct it Very Happy

I've been up it in my TD6, but it was too dark for me to go back down.

It was interesting to say the least. Not exactly smooth.

Just lift it up and stuck it in low box Very Happy

And I was on road tyres as well Thumbs Up

Excellent.
I'll go down it on my bike first and have a proper look. didn't fancy going down without knowing what i might come across.. When did you go up it ? a few people mentioned it had eroded a hell of a lot recently. Apologies if i've posted this on my phone and it contains strange spelling and punctuation.. i just can't be bothered to correct it Very Happy

Must be a couple of months now, I know it was light when we went up. But soon got dark.

There was a few of us from the NW 4x4 Response group.

Just found a recent video on youtube of a guy in a Pajero doing it.

Looks like the first step from the top is the worst bit. I just assumed it got worse and worse. Maybe i'll revisit it when there's more than just me Very Happy

Looks about right.

Let me know when you plan on going and I might pop up and see if any more of the local NW 4x4 Response guys fancy a trip up.
