That panel is steel, as we know from all the stories of rusting arches. A good panel man will get that back into shape without too much difficulty. Since it's on edges and corners it will stay in shape once repaired as well. Dents in the middle of panels are harder as they easily distort again with heat cycles (sunshine, then cold etc)

I know it's not nice for the OP but it really isn't so bad to repair. Yes there will be paint but again it can be blended into the adjacent panels nicely and won't need a full side of the car re-spray. From past experience I would expect that to cost 600 to 800 quid in a decent place. Not exactly cheap but not mind-blowing either.

Cant you do what Ed China does, weld lots of pins and then have it hit/pulled back out. I think that would be cheapest
