I have asked several questions over the last couple of years regarding my turbo issue with little response. Can anyone recomend a forum that i could ask my questions and get answers? Im not being funny however if i had asked a question for the best clay to get bird lime off my bonnet or the best rim wax i would have had loads of responses however anything technical appears to be beyond ffrr 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9

I would suggest using the search facility of the forum, I'm sure there have been many turbo related technical questions asked (and answered).

+1, the wiki and search facility is very good, and if someone on here has read your posts, I'm damn sure they would have answered.
They are a good bunch of guys on here and more than willing to help, if they can.
I don't own a tdv8, so mostly concentrate on my own model, but I have seen a lot of good write ups.

i've looked through your previous posts Terry and you seem to have had your posts answered....

members try and help as best as they can, they are not fully qualified landrover techs and they also cannot plug a diagnostic tool into your FF remotely over the internet..

Disappointing OP this....

A forum cannot decide it's membership, nor their skillset. Having a sly dig at "removing bird lime" or "technical issue beyond ffrr" is out of order...

You'd probably have more joy if you hadn't asked in such an arrogant manner....

I think your main problem is that you never started your own thread, you always tried to get information off the back of someone else's thread... (And yes Ross I've read all his old posts as well...)

You asked about turbo actuator faults and you got some answers, it's very difficult to diagnose a fault on a forum... If you haven't the skill set to get to the bottom of it yourself then maybe you should pay someone who has...

The only suggestion I can offer is that some years ago I got some good advice from LR Customer Relations 0870 5000 500 (not on turbos, but technical). I don't know whether they can still put you through to someone at LR with expertise in the relevant area, but it might be worth a try. Only Range Rovers since 1988
