They are one piece with the wood or plastic trim down the side of the center console itself, there is one T20 screw up under the dash then pull the plastic/wood piece outwards towards the door, it has catches top and bottom, and they come right off... |

Sorry not under the dash - as in the sides of where the handbrake is on the centre console |

It's all one piece, not too hard to remove though.... |

Ahh gotcha is there a diy? Also should that armrest split its very thick like something in it ? On my e39 it was lick that and had a container in the middle |
