Fullfat has some genuine new 20" rims at a very fair price and he is in Essex. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem!!

Hi Mr Fox, lol, i'm considering a set of 20in wheels for my 05 RR, do you have any pics of the ones you have on offer? Also, Is there any truth in that the pre 05 model vibrates when using 22inch wheels, particularly on the motorway?

Thanks in advance.

Land Rover said at the time anything over 18 inch was unsuitable for the TD6. V8s on the other hand were fitted with 19s...

..later diesels were of course fitted with 19s too Confused

General consensus seems to be don't go above 19 inch on the TD6 as it will be detrimental to ride comfort and may cause vibration issues. However, I am still on 18s so have no personal experience...

When I first got my TD6 (2002) it had 22 inch wheels fitted. Didn't seem to affect anything.

Thanks letsavit. Thumbs Up

Hi Mojo,

I have a set of new supercharged spec 20" rims with tyres. Off a brand new car other than a few hundred miles.
They are for sale, but of course are not cheap. Fantastic condition. The car was being blinged with 22s.
I could be prepared to part with them, but it would cost 1200.

Alternatively I am quite happy (as they are new) to put them on my car and sell the current ones I have (exactly the same type of alloys) as the tyres are a bit more worn (two 2k and two 5k miles) and one of the alloys was repaired before i bought the car. It's not perfect and if you are fussy could do with being repaired to a higher standard IMO.
For the set on my car I want 850. They still have a lot of life in the tyres.

Both sets are this style:
(picture of one on my car)

Basically if I see a set of cheap wheels I pick them up... then sell them on at cost (plus a little for my collection time and fuel) to other forum members as I know they will be of use to someone at some time.
But storage space is getting a bit tight. I had five sets recently. Shocked 18s, 19s and 20s.

hi,

i've only just seen that you replied to me cause i was browsing the site. I thought the site would email alert me of a new post to a thread i'd updated.

I like the look of the wheels. I'll inbox you and take it up from there.

Cheers
