Tempted do get it resprayed after saying that. Would look good it think.

Downside is that it would be red hot in the caravan in summer. Would then have to get air con fitted.

That is funny Stan!

Never seen a black caravan in Aus. Almost all are white and all have AC. I seldom use it as it's so noisy and it detracts from the serenity of caravaning - if that's a word!

England 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Epsom Green

Hi all just back from a week in the Lake District, weather kind! Have found no vehicle better for towing + reasonable economy than my " old " Vogue TD6. Admittedly chipped. Any older FF out there in daily use? Mines April 2002.

all words just not sure they have ever been used in the same sentence, certainly not in my caravanning experience. Admittedly I'm probably not going to the right places. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Stories of "you don't even know it's on the back" have been in caravan folk law for 300 years. So long as YOU know it's there the FF is a great choice of towcar, but don't let it run away with you, keep it steady and safe, happy towing Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Fair one Nicktdv8, thanks for that. Wink

I plan on keeping it steady while the van is on the back. Managed over 24mpg after picking it up for the 60 miles, which I was happy with. Hopefully I'll get more on a longer run.

Rangey Classic 2 doors Rolling with laughter same story though "You cant tell it's on the back".... Whistle

Been towing 20 years all over europe...I always know it's on the back and I can feel it - despite the folk law....

You get the same patter from all LR owners....and one or two Jap 4wd caravanners...though I don't tend to discuss it with those kind Mr. Green Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
