FFRR's Holidays 2011

Evenin'

It's cold, wet, windy and there's a good chance it's snowy outside.

Let's talk holidays...

What have you planned for 2011?

Currently, all I have booked is a transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2 in June, combined with 3 nights in New York with my better half.

I might try and sneak in some winter sunshine as well.

So come on then, let's hear it, where you all off to? -Michael

In May next year me and 14 others will be going to Oz to see one of my brothers and his family.

This is all far too classy!. Allow me to address this :

The only holiday i have booked so far is a long weekend in Benidorm with the lads. !

Never been.. and yes, before you all tell me.. i know!

Unforunately; the girly weekend in a spa that SWMBO requested in the deal cost a hell of a lot more !

Planning a bit of a european road trip later next year though.

South Africa 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor

Off to Kruger Park (Bush Camps only, no touristy places) and then to Guinjata Bay Lodge in Mozambique in a coupla weeks Smile will be there over Christmas and new year, so it counts as a 2011 holiday. And it's all in the FFRR Smile

Google guinjata, it's heaven on earth if you like clean sand, sea, diving, eating prawns, etc

This is the main road down to the beach

I too shall be dragging the tin tent across the water to Le Mans for the 24hr. Hopefully a few excursions on two wheels taking in europe and a gp round in Italy, stopping at Tavullia to pay homage to the man. Thumbs Up Ian

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

One day I want to do a tour of all the best Mountain passes in Europe in the Range Rover staying in fine Hotels and eating in fine restaurants!

PS: I have done most of them in our 28' Frankia Motorhome but its not quite the same when your struggling to get up the Fluella pass in 1st gear and sh*tting yourself as you start to lose revs only yard from the summit Rolling Eyes
