Grumbling when braking

Just recently i have noticed a grumbling noise on the front of my car when braking. It seems the heavier i brake, the louder it is. The discs/pads are all recently new (aporox 10mm on each pad)

Has anyone had trouble with wheel bearings on the front? Or can anyone suggest another possible culprit?
Thanks

They were fitted when i got the car but i think they are Delphi? Seems louder when they are cold too so you could be right about the pads. Will see how it goes (got a trip unto Scotland in a few weeks so will be doing a couple of thousand miles) and if it continues i may try a set of genuine pads Thumbs Up Paul

Is there a make of pads everyone recommends?
My pads/discs grind incredibly loudly if I brake heavily, so loud in fact you would expect the car to be shaking itself to bits, but it's not!
Still brakes in a straight line with no excess wheel shake or wobble! Disconbobulated I am!

Mine is the same, it sometimes sounds like its metal to metal on the brakes but there is still about 10mm left. Going to order a set of genuine ones and try them Thumbs Up Paul

Sounds like a plan. Has anyone had success getting rid of the problem by ordering originals?
What make are the originals anyway?
Now all I need to do is find a good indy in Cornwall or Devon that uses original or better parts.
Any recommendations guys?

Cheers
Pete

Sorry, my error (sleep deprived by excited kids in close proximity to a beautiful sandy beach!)

I assume you mean Duckworth parts in Lincolnshire in the supplier section. Really must keep my wits about me!

I'm hoping I can find a decent recommended indy around Cornwall that could do the job whilst I'm here on holiday as I don't have any tools on me. Doh!

Too many hills and too many d :censored:kheads on holiday (ahem) making me have pull up too sharpish for my liking!

Cheers
Pete

Dispit what the internet would have us believe Brembo don't make disks or pads , Originals are best as so frequently said here . 2008 MY Supercharged

I think some of the confusion with Brembos may stem from car parts places like ECP that sell brembo branded pads.
Me not being that knowledge about brake pad manufacturers would reasonably expect that if they say they are Brembos they must be Brembos. I wonder who makes them and brands them brembo?

Nobody seems to know and more to the point why do Brembo allow this to continue ? or are they complicit in this and get a cut , as for who actually makes them the ones I have seen looked like Pagid . 2008 MY Supercharged
